we have a real cool water airplane...seaplane remote control...we live on the beach so it is perfect for flying on very quiet days !! no wind !!! great shot btw !! ~trish~ ---------- Answer: These airplane rely on the vertical component of lift created by wind coming up the slope. Thus, we need LOTS of wind!! Various gliders can fly in 5mph breeze all the way up to 50mph winds or higher! The guys that participate in dynamic soaring will reach speeds of nearly 200mph with their little planes! reply | |||
